Browsers

This site works best with Mozilla Firefox. Although you can use Internet Explorer, it is not recommended, since it lacks the improved features and security of Firefox.

The site has been designed on the Firefox browser. Firefox is rapidly gaining popularity in the internet world, and I personally encourage everyone to try it, because it is leaps and bounds ahead of the outdated Internet Explorer.

But remember, whatever browser you use, update it regularly. One of the biggest hurdles web designers face is the use of outdated browsers. Most sites nowadays simply won't work on old versions, or at best don't work properly. So please, download the updated versions when they come out. If you have problems, you can always contact us for help.

Screen Resolution

This site was designed for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, which is the standard screen size for most monitors.

You can change your screen resolution in Windows by going to Start > Control Panel > Display > Settings.

I have made every attempt to create a site that will work on any size screen, but realistically anything below 800 x 600 will look poor if it works at all. The screen size depends greatly on the age and size of your monitor. Anything over 1280 x 1024 should work fine.




Operating System

Any operating system (Windows, Linux, Macintosh) should work, provided you are using a compatible browser. Firefox works on most operating systems. Safari is a widely used browser exclusive to the Mac.
