Here are a few rules to make Rohan a better place.
If any of these rules are broken, posts could be deleted, edited, or moved.
Depending on the severity we could also ban the offender. It's happened before.

The Gap Of Rohan - This is where new members introduce themselves and are welcomed.
Edoras - The announcement forum. Site news and updates posted here.
Harrowdale - Friendly, serious general disscussion. No fluff posting! If you don't want to stick to the topic, go to the Vortex.
The Vortex of the Huorns - Talk about anything... Senseless and silly topics and disscussion - beware - fluff posting (don't go off the rack though).
Helm's Deep - Strictly Tolkien discussion. This is where you can solve serious questions and argue the works of the great author.
Aglarond: The Glittering Caves - Less advanced disscussions and questions of the books by Tolkien.
The Hornburg - Tolkien movie discussion. Everything concerning the movies, from Ralph Bashki to Peter Jackson (Mostly Peter Jackson).
Angrenost - Polls. A voter's heaven. Keep the topics to Tolkien.
Middle-Earth Fun and Games - Tolkien trivia, quotes, and riddles. Play by the rules.
The Fluffers Lodge - Fluff posting games. Keep a Tolkien theme. Fluffing allowed, but play by the rules. Password by invite.
The Roleplaying forums - Tolkien RPG's. Follow the rules, and write neatly with proper vocabulary if you can, no abbreviations please.
The Emnets - If you have a story you are writing, post it here. Feel free to criticize other's stories. Constructive posts only please.
Moderator and Administrator forums - Private forums for the high ones to plot in.
Archives - Old threads get dumped here.
Dwimorberg - Advertising. Here and only here can you advertise.

Try to keep the size of your signatures smaller than larger. Really huge sigs can be very annoying, and can increase the load time of the page. As a guideline, try to keep images in your signature no larger than 500 pixels wide, and a file size of 50kb.
Please speak proper English, to the best of your ability. Try not to use "netspeak". ;)
This is not a rule, but if you
do not have Netscape 7+, Internet Explorer 6+, or a new version of Mozilla, Opera, or Firefox, chances are the layout looks really bad. It's not supposed to be like that! You need to upgrade if you haven't in a while! Below is a list of recommended browsers which will all work fine, and their download links.
