I just learned through MySpace that a guy with an account there -- Zach -- is being sent to a brainwashing institute for gays. Somehow this kind of thing is legal. This is being covered in a few blogs, including Zach's own on Myspace (although he has stopped writing since being shipped off), and I heard that it will receive national coverage tomorrow. In case it doesn't or you miss it, here are a few links:

The director, I just read, denies saying what I quoted, but I'm not convinced either way.
Is the work of Love In Action so different from murder? It seems to me that your personality, choices and beliefs are a great part of who you are.

Real, have you been able to read this young man's blog yourself?
From the links you provided, this has all the earmarks of "helping" gone terrribly wrong. Regardless of my own view on homosexuality, keeping parents, esp. ones supportive of the overall goal out of contact woth their child is wrong. Keeping a journal or blog, or such is often very helpful as therapy.
I can't speak with definitiveness becasue I am just now researching this , but from the first look, this is not Chrisitianity and it is not a good thing.

Yeah, I read his blog. It's very saddening. He looks like he was very happy before his parents decided to go whacko.

Could you send me a link to it please?

Oh my god...This isn't only not christian, this is satanic. This is extremely unjust and something MUST be done to stop this. I would seriously consider doing something, but I am only a 14 year old kid who doesn't even live in the same country. Someone do something about this.

Prince: You won't be able to access it unless you are a MySpace member, I don't think. I'll try though.
