Thanks Balin. I dont know what to say. Words seem futile and far too many to chose between. So i'll turn to that of another.

Not Waving But Drowning
by Stevie Smith
Nobody heard him, the dead man,
But still he lay moaning:
I was much further out than you thought
And not waving but drowning.

Poor chap, he always loved larking
And now he's dead
It must have been too cold for him his heart gave way,
They said.

Oh, no no no, it was too cold always
(Still the dead one lay moaning)
I was much too far out all my life
And not waving but drowning.

May I add my condolences and hugs to those from the others. Words are so feeble in times as this.

Oh dear, that´shorrible :( What happened? Were you good friends with him, Dom? I´m really sorry. Like PDA said, words will do no good. Just know we´re with you.

Words are worth nothing right now.

Weezer has a song called "hold me". I am listening to it for you DoM.

Dom love, I'm always here if you need someone to talk to, rant at, shout at, blame, kick, hit, punch, shout at some more, cry on...whatever you need honey.

I don't know what to say either. But thank you, everyone.

He passed away today, this morning. I'm afraid he didn't really have a family. He lost his brother and then his mother a few years ago.

As his friend, I'm just shocked. Still doesn't really register. I wish I could have said goodbye. I'm sorry, Jay.

*hugs Dom*

*group hug* Words are so feeble here, but they are also the one thing that keeps you sane.

Thanks guys. I know most of you didnt know him well, and if you did it would have been for spamming the most respectable of messageboards.

How did it happen? i'm mnot sure. But it was along the lines of drinking a bottle of vodka and injecting heroin. It was no accident.

Yes, we were good friends, at least i thought we were. I just dont understand.

Some people just reach a point where it's too hard to carry on. DON'T you dare start blaming yourself or feeling guilty. This is NOT your fault AT ALL. I've known suicidal people, the only times they think of their friends is to feel bad for leaving them. It was NOT your fault. It sounds like he had a tough life, and it just all got on top of him. Remember teenagers reach a stage in their brain development where they have little to no empathy, they can only think of themselves. One of the reasons there are so many teenage suicides. Darling, you'll be fine.

DoM, don't blame yourself for a second honey. Sometimes people just can't reach out. Been there. Nothing is your fault.

Well, tomorrow I have to play my cello for my art teacher's funeral reception. :(

She told us that when she died she didn't want anyone to wear black, in mourning, though. I'm just going to wear dark-coloured trousers and a light blue button-up shirt with a nice tie, I suppose.

I'm sorry... It's difficult for me to say much; I never knew him. My best wishes to him and those that knew him. It's never fair when life treats a person that way, especially one so young. And I'm sorry about your Art teacher, Barahir. I'm sorry people have to pass away...

Sounds like a good choice, Barahir. I never believed in wearing black to a funeral anyhow. Once knew a widow who wore red to her husband's funeral, as that was the color he'd liked her best in.Condolences on your teacher's passing.
