Great! Just when I have perfected my avoidance of the old food pyramid, so I can enjoy my oversized self, they go and change things. Now I will have to devise a whole new way of being unhealthy! Drat! :evilc

It's the end of an era. But man, they could have at least been more decisive. They carelessly say "go build your own food pyramid, and if it falls down, oh well, since we're tired of your complaining." What if I design my pyramid wrong? What if it ruins my health because I built my own poorly designed arts & crafts pyramid because the official pyramid architects are too lazy? I'm no food pyramid architect. It's like their leaving me out there and just waiting for me to make a mistake. "Haha, you built your pyramind wrong, I guess you'll die sucker!" It's really scary to think about...

Well, that is what our government was designed to do. Let us make our own decisions and make minimal laws and recommendations. :D For a change they are actually doing it....

Actually (I'm in a Nutrition class this semester)...this new pyramid guide is much better, especially having it individually designed. The government is not saying go make your own...we're not responsible...instead they are saying...we want you to be healthy...here are some basic guidelines. Add the additional information (such as height, weight, ethnicity and etc...all of which factor into Nutritional needs) and the pyramid will be a good guideline for how to eat.
Uh oh...I think I'm turning into a health nut...j/k

eating a Healthy array of foods is not the only thing. you must exercise as well, which many people either forget or tend to want to avoid. their fault if they don't exercise.
that's why I run, and run alot.

*Clumsily tries to construct a food pyramid that collapses due to the heavy weight of the meat on top of the flimsy vegetables.*

if it was going to work in the same way as the pyramid then it would have to be a diamond.

Sorry; he doesn't really spend time on forums. In fact, he just updated his Xanga, the other day, for the first time in almost one year.
